A delegation from Iceland, led by Elin R. Sigurdardottir, the Director General International Development Cooperation held a meeting with officials in Namayingo District to discuss the implementation of Iceland-funded projects aimed at improving the livelihoods of fishing communities in the area.

During the meeting, the Iceland team disseminated special audit findings that was conducted early this this year. They also disseminated detailed financial operating procedures to guide the management of ongoing and future projects. The delegation addressed key procurement processes, ensuring transparency and efficiency in project delivery for the benefit of district’s fishing communities.
